These terms add to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which governs your download and use of Corral from the App Store and is linked next to these terms in the app. They say what Corral does and does not promise. If you do not agree, do not use Corral.

1. What Corral is

Corral is a hands-free dock finder for docked bikeshare. You pick where you want to dock, it watches the nearest station with open docks, speaks through one earbud if that station fills up, and guides you to the next one. It is a convenience. It does not reserve a dock and does not guarantee that one will be free when you arrive.

2. Data comes from operators, and can be wrong

Dock counts, station locations and station names come from each bikeshare operator’s public feed, refreshed about once a minute and sometimes later. Counts can be stale, wrong, or missing; stations go offline; operators can change, restrict, or withdraw their feeds at any time, and Corral may stop working for that system when they do. Corral’s “likely full by arrival” alert is an estimate from recent counts, not a fact. Spoken distances and directions are approximate. Look at the dock before you rely on it.

3. Riding is your responsibility

You ride at your own risk. You must follow the traffic and equipment laws where you are, including rules on earphones: in New York and many other places a cyclist may wear one earphone, not two. Keep your eyes on the road. If you need to look at the phone, stop first. Corral’s alerts and routes are suggestions; you decide where and how to ride and where to dock.

4. Corral Plus

Corral Plus is sold through Apple’s App Store as an auto-renewing subscription or a one-time purchase. Apple handles billing, renewal, cancellation and refunds under its terms; you manage a subscription in your Apple ID settings, and a renewal can be cancelled any time before the period ends. Prices, the free rides, and any trial are shown before you buy. Plus adds features to the app; it does not change what the data is or what the operators provide.

5. Bikeshare operators

Corral is not affiliated with Lyft, Citi Bike, or any bikeshare operator, and does not sell rides, memberships, or bikes. Your relationship with an operator is under that operator’s own terms. Station data is used under each operator’s published license, shown in the app under Settings. Bikeshare names are trademarks of their respective owners.

6. No warranty, limited liability

To the extent the law allows, Corral is provided as is and as available, without any warranty, and the developer is not liable for loss, damage, or injury arising from stale or wrong data, a missed, late, or mistaken alert, a route, an operator’s feed, or your riding. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for Corral in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where the law does not allow that to be excluded, and nothing takes away consumer rights you have where you live. Apple is not responsible for Corral and has no warranty obligation beyond any refund described in its own agreement.

7. Changes

If these terms change, the new version is posted at this address with a new effective date.
